2007 Ford Mustang Convertible California Special

This is a time capsule with wheels!
This 2007 Ford Mustang GT/CS convertible is a 1 of 1 car.
The car was a special order from Scarff Ford in Auburn, Washington.
The person who ordered the car cancelled the order and the car was parked on the dealer’s lot when the first owner drove by and saw the car.
The car was purchased by the first owner and then was parked in a heated garage for almost 10 years before I found it.
I purchased the car with 2200 miles on it.
The car now has under 8800 miles on it.
Everything is original on the car, including the original tires.
The original tires are still in great shape and were recently inspected by Les Schwab and were “like new” after the inspection.
This car has never been parked outdoors and the sun has not deteriorated the tires.
Since the original tires are still on the car, it proves that this car has never been raced or treated hard.
The tires are still very soft and pliable, like new tires would be.
The car is a beautiful Redfire Clearcoat with the black and dove accent leather interior.
The car has NEVER been driven in the rain.
The undercarriage is spotless.
As the pictures show, there are still many tags on the undercarriage of the car, including the exhaust pipes.
There were only 510 of the convertibles built in Redfire.
Only 1 was built with the above options according to the report from Ron Davis, owner of the GT/CS Registry.
The 2007 GT/CS was the first year the California Special was re-introduced after being unavailable since 1968.
Between 1969 and 2006, no GT/CS versions were built.
The engine is a 24 valve, 4.6 Liter V-8 with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The car comes with everything from the original date of purchase, including both key fobs, original window sticker and a custom bra that was ordered from Colgan Customs.
The bra is only installed when driving the car on the freeway to shows.
The bra has kept the paint “flawless” except for 2 small marks on the front of the hood that was present when I purchased the car.
The 2 blemishes are shown in the pictures.
This car has won many awards including first place for model years 2005 to 2010 at the local Mustang show in Seattle.
These included awards at Shelby shows, Mustang shows, and open car shows.
The convertible top is flawless as is the rest of the car.
The floor mats were protected with covers and are totally clean.
The engine compartment is like the day it was sold.
Everything under the hood is free from dirt, dust or oils.
The original battery was replaced this year with a Motorcraft matching battery.
